Mob health bars and combat awareness for Minecraft
Craft a sculk compass from a compass and a sculk sensor, and see what is after you: health bars over the mobs you fight, a “!” when a mob starts chasing you, and an eye in the corner of the screen while anything hunts you, even out of sight.

How it works
Equip a sculk compass to know who is after you.
- Combine a compass with a sculk sensor to make a sculk compass, and wear it in the compass's slot: it shows the minimap as well.
- A health bar over mobs in a fight, which shows the damage you just dealt.
- A golden “!” when a mob starts chasing you.
- An eye in the corner of the screen while anything is hunting you, even out of sight, with the number of pursuers.
- With or without the sculk compass, a red arc around the crosshair points to where a hit came from.
Sculk Compass Compass + Sculk sensor
Worn in the compass's slot, it shows the minimap and senses the mobs around you. Sculk sensors grow in the deep dark and only drop with Silk Touch.
Questions
How do I get a sculk compass?
Mine a sculk sensor with a Silk Touch tool, in the deep dark, then craft it with a compass. Wear the sculk compass in the compass slot, in place of the compass.
Do I still get the minimap with the sculk compass?
Yes: the sculk compass does everything the compass does, and senses the mobs around you.
Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes, with Cassonade on the server: the “!” and the eye need the server, which knows which mobs are chasing you.
